Today, Monday, 17th June 2013, is World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought. St. Vincent and the Grenadines is part of the Convention to Combat Desertification and Drought (UNCCD).
Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has re-stated the Government’s commitment to reducing poverty at all levels in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Some twenty (20) students, including Vincentians and others from around the world, will participate in the next phase of the Richmond Vale Academy’s Climate Compliance Project.
Twenty (20) farmers gathered in Barrouallie this week to learn more about how Honey Bees contribute to food production.
